A new study from researchers in the Penn State Department of Health Policy and Administration including Young-ji Lee, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Health Policy and Administration, and Yubraj Acharya, associate professor of health policy and administration, examined the relationships between married women’s autonomy in making health-related decision for themselves, the presence of community effort in enhancing women’s health, and breast and cervical cancer screening rates in Nepal.
